Plastic Surgery were fundamental to our history, a turning point in the evolution of the punk and skinhead scene. Their personal growth mirrored the growing awareness of an entire generation, culminating in the monumental EP "Rivolta" (Rebellion), a true watershed moment in terms of worldview, sounds, and ideas. It's one of those works for which you can say there was a "before" and an "after." "Rivolta" alone would have been a lifetime's work, but Massimo did more; he was also a bridge between the subcultures he personally experienced and politics, understood in an ideal sense, through his personal commitment and numerous collaborations, including one with the magazine Avanguardia. While his personal life may have had a somewhat meteoric quality, this certainly cannot be said of the effects that followed. Farewell, Massimo.
