A random event that occurred in 1935 (about 60 years after the discovery of the statue): the photojournalist Basil Tsakirakis had visited the Archaeological Museum of Athens, to admire unique exhibits. There, in a room there was a copy of the Hermes of Praxiteles (the original is in the museum of Olympia).
