I Have A Dream

"I have a dream... In my dream I see a world freed from the burden of falsehood. I see a world reborn in perfection. I see the rule of purity, and how is this dream to come true? And how is this world to be born? Only through tribulation. Only through great and terrible suffering, destruction and retribution. Yes, I have a dream... In my dream I see tide after tide of violent conflict. I see rivers of blood. I see death and more death - death at every turn. I see a massive destabilization of prevailing social structures, and a populace that quickly reverts to barbarism. I see animalistic tribes doing battle for land, for food and for water. Fighting just to survive. I see a huge loss of human life... Streets littered with corpses, and a spreading pestilence runs rampant. I see vast stacks of severed heads and bodies dangling from lamp posts. I see the grandeur of the days of old return, and public squares once more illuminated by crucified Christians: human torches set ablaze as in the time of Nero and Diocletian. I see a world on fire... And the midday sun blocked out by flocks ravens that descend to peck at the bloated cadavers strewn about the streets. Yes, I have a dream: a dream of a world cleansed by destruction, a world purified by fire, a world in ashes. And when the last ember's have died, and when the last ashes have all settled, then shall the summit's exist in the clouds once again, then shall the valleys rejoice in their depths.
